Join me for a calm and relaxing walk through my farm in September ´22 to show how things have grown and chanced in the last month and whats happening with the fruit trees, veggie garden, olives and vineyard.

September brought autumn or "fall" and the beautiful fall colours are all over the farm already. A 4-day tropical storm brought much needed rain to the farm, but sadly my well's water levels has not yet increased.

Lots of maintenance happening on my neighbouring farms before the winter arrives. I am yet to plant my winter veg though and am waiting on help to plough the area before planting.

I'm Christine. I started this journey in search of my forever farm in Portugal, and now I have found it!

This is my adventure as a solo expat on a farm in Central Portugal with my two fur-kids, Shakti & Shiva.
I've never owned or lived on a farm, but moved to Portugal in the hope of fulfilling a life-long dream of finding open space, subsistence farming and a safer, better life.

Now that we have found our farm, the second stage of our journey begins!
I have to figure out farm life while renovating an agricultural structure to make it habitable and turn it into a comfortable home for me and my furkids.
