ℹ️ We are BACK! It's mothers day for us and central Portugal is changing for the better. Amazingly we discovered a Vegan / Vegetarian restaurant just 22kms from our sleepy town of Mortagua in the neighbouring town of Tábua. It was called the Green Bean Coffee house and had a lovely hearty menu of Veggie and Vegan foods for us to enjoy. We are so happy that places like this are popping up around central Portugal, and not just in the big cities of Lisbon, Porto, Viseu and Coimbra. These are the kinds of cafes and restaurants that make us feel like good change is coming all over the world as more people embrace their health and vary their palettes with different foods that are locally grown and sourced. It was a happy mothers day! (Sub note - we celebrate the British mothers day, Portugal's mothers day is in May)
