In this online seminar held on 30 September 2022, Visiting Fellow Patricia Jerònimo examined the challenges that limited awareness of the complexity of cultural diversity poses to the attainment of equal justice. The presentation discussed how cultural differences and minorities' interests are perceived by judicial actors in Portugal and how they are reflected in the diversity-related case law of Portuguese courts, based on the findings of a multidisciplinary research project conducted between 2018 and 2022.
