Your favorite American Eurovision Fan Alesia Michelle had the chance to talk to Miguel and Tatanka from Portugal's The Black Mamba.

Portuguese band The Black Mamba won Festival da Canção 2021 and will represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.

Pedro Tatanka, Ciro Cruz and Muguel Casais formed the band in the spring of 2010. The chemistry and experience that the group has allows them to traverse the universe of blues, soul and funk in the adaptation of their roots and environment.

The group has released multiple albums and is known for their concert and festival tours around Portugal and beyond.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place in Rotterdam. The Dutch city was due to host the Contest in 2020 before the event was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Semi-Finals will take place on 18 and 20 May 2021. The Grand Final takes place on 22 May 2021.
