Shar Wynter is a social entrepreneur, travel enthusiast, and advocate for the expat lifestyle. Equipped with insights from her career break experiences and travels to over 50 countries, she is on a mission to inspire others to live authentic, free, and abundant lives through travel and living abroad experiences.

Inspired by the untimely death of her father, she quit her corporate job in 2019 to embark on a life changing career break. This journey ultimately led her to create Xpat Inc., a digital platform for the global Black community that lives abroad. In 2020 the company launched The Xpat App, which currently includes over 1.4k members representing more than 110 countries & territories across the globe.

The Detroit native currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal where she spends her spare time scrapbooking, exploring, and investing in passion projects.
