His purpose is to find the good and bad souls by experiencing how they take care of him. Treat him well he gives you good fortune/luck. Treat him terrible, he gives you terrible fortune/luck. Once you touch his doll, he will not leave until the end of your life or someone else touch his doll. However having your soul… I’m not sure what his purposes will be. The only way he has your soul is if you said his name. His strength is very powerful but he can appear for only a couple times but it drains his energy. He can also appear through a mirror/dreams/photographs.
