The City of Porto is famous for many things including its various bridges and beautiful viewing points (miradouros).

Here is a list of the top 5 viewing points you cannot miss while travelling to the city of Porto, Portugal:

➡️ Jardim do Morro - This view point (garden) is located on the opposite side of the river and provides a panoramic view of the city of Porto and the Douro River.

➡️ Miradouro da Vitória - This must visit viewpoint is right in the historic city centre. It offers a stunning view that overlooks the Douro River and the Ribera district.

➡️ Miradouro da Rua das Aldas - This viewpoint offers an another perspective of the city of Porto, the Douro River and the historic centre.

➡️ Miradouro da Serra do Pilar - This viewpoint is located in Vila Nova de Gaia which is across the river from Porto. In addition to a panoramic view of Porto and the Douro River, this view point also includes the famous Dom Luis I Bridge.

The best part of this list of Porto miradouros is that they are all within walking distance of each other. The only thing is with walking in many cities in Portugal, you can expect lots of steep climbs and stairs between each point, but I promise the views are worth it!
