Did you know that Portugal invaded more than 51 Countries in the world?

These are all the countries that Portugal has ever invaded. It could seem like Spanish little brother, but that is wrong. Portugal had at least a small territory in all of these countries. Starting in Africa where they usually sailed it`s the whole west and east coast together with around 28 countries. On the way to Asia we include the whole Arabian peninsula, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, China, Japan, Taiwan, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and many small countries. On the other side of the world, they of course had a colony in Brazil, but they also had a settlement in Uruguay, Bolivia, French Guayana, Barbados and Canada. Lastly in Europe we have to include Spain, France and the UK, because Portugal has invaded some of their colonies. And that's it. Living in the shade of Spain, Portugal always wanted to show its strength.
