In this episode of Milestones, Presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance, U.S. Soccer hosts the inaugural Girls' Development Academy Winter Showcase. The program-wide tournament, which builds off the success of the founding Boys' event, gives female players the chance to test themselves at the highest level of youth soccer in the United States against other elite teams they would not normally encounter throughout the course of the regular Academy season.

This new platform, an annual opportunity for female players across the country to be seen by college and U.S. Youth National Team scouts, is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in women's soccer throughout the country.
