Dan and I are getting ready to introduce animals to our Portuguese homestead. This week, we're upcycling our scrap pile. We're turning our house leftovers into a super practical chicken coop that's easy to clean and will keep our hens dry. The special bonus is that this chicken coop cost us €0 NOTHING. It was a totally free chicken coop, and we think it'll last many years too!

35 weeks ago, we bought an abandoned farm in Tras-os-montes, North Portugal, and we're building our dream house with a public garden, an ice cream kiosk, and our dream house optimized toward minimalist yet comfortable living.
