That was a buzz, we hit 40kts wind squalls crossing the Gibraltar straight to Portugal.... this time we reefed early to save our sun damaged sail from shredding. We are pretty excited to get our new (secondhand but great condition) sail in a few weeks time so we can get above 7 kts on the heavy girl. We arrived in Portugal and cleared customs at Vilamoura Marina then sailed up the coast to Portimao where we found a fantastic beach bar. Next week we explore the coast of Portugal.
