Good news from the beaches of the Algarve as COVID restrictions become more relaxed and we are heading into a deconfinement period. It is slow and cautious but once Easter is over the bars, restaurants, shops and services will be opening again to the public in gradual stages.

As we've been in winter lockdown in Portugal for a few months now, we thought we'd show you what lockdown life has been like for us over here in the Algarve in the first months of 2021.

Thankfully things are improving and it is looking promising heading into spring and summer.
