I had wanted to visit Lisbon for a good few years out of sheer curiosity, as every time I'd flown to the Iberian peninsula with my family before, it was always bound for the Costa Del Sol or somewhere not too far from there - in true British holidaymaker style. Now I'm out on my own and I want something a little bit different. When the British holidaymaker hears Portugal, the southern region of Algarve tends to pop into the head, and that's their loss. Portugal's capital city is severely underrated, and a constant thought on my first day here was along the lines of "I feel like I could live here." This was my first day in Lisbon, (the locals say Lisboa!) getting my bearings. Stay tuned for more focused videos on the city's top attractions coming soon!
