BEST VIEWPOINTS IN PORTO ????

One thing that I liked about Porto was that everything felt so close. Most places of interest are pretty much within walking distance ???? But as in any typical Portuguese city, be ready to climb some steep streets. It’s not all bad news because it’s from the higher viewpoints (miradouros in Portuguese) where you can enjoy some of the best views in Porto for free. Here are some you cannot miss:

1️⃣ Miradouro da Vitória - Located in the historic centre, this viewpoint offers a stunning view of the Douro River and the Ribeira district.

2️⃣ Jardim do Morro - Situated on the other side of the river, this garden offers a panoramic view of the city and the Douro River. You can get there by crossing the D Luis I Bridge or taking the cable car.

3️⃣ Miradouro da Serra do Pilar - This viewpoint is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, just across the river from Porto. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Porto and the Douro River, as well as the Dom Luis I Bridge.

4️⃣ Miradouro da Rua das Aldas - This viewpoint offers a unique perspective of the city, with views of the river and the historic centre.

5️⃣ Miradouro do Passeio das Fontainha - This hidden gem next to a parking lot offers a different view of the Luis I Bridge and the river
