Welcome to a new season of Girl Meets Farm!
I briefly recap where got up to with the renovation in 2022 and touch on highlights of what I'd like to achieve this year with the renovation as well as the farm. Exciting times ahead as I start tackling projects by myself.

About Girl Meets Farm:
I'm Christine, a South African expat now living in Portugal.

This is my adventure as a solo expat on a farm in Central Portugal with my two fur-kids, Shakti & Shiva.
I've never owned or lived on a farm, but moved to Portugal in the hope of fulfilling a life-long dream of finding open space, subsistence farming and a safer, better life.

The third stage of our journey begins now!
I'm still figuring out farm life, and while the larger renovation of the agricultural structure is now complete, I will continue renovating the interior to make it habitable and turn it into a comfortable home for me and my furkids.
